THE STORY
It is an affectionate, wacky, and wryly realistic portrayal of an American Family’s typical Christmas joys and travails in small-town Depression-era Indiana. The play is based on the autobiographical stories of Jean Shepherd and growing up in Indiana. The play is an adaptation from Shepherd’s writings by Phillip Grecian.

Ralphie Parker: Boy

Ralph Parker: grown man

The Old Man
(Parker): Ralphie’s Father and a salesman

Mom (Mrs. Parker): Ralphie’s Mother

Randy Parker: Ralphie’s kid brother

Flick: Ralphie best friend

Miss Shields: Ralphie’s teacher

Scut Farkas: Cleveland Street Bully

Grover Dill: a buddy of Scut Farkas

Bumpus Family: Hillbilly family living next door with all the dogs
