SUMMER FUN!
As the
curtain closes on the 2007-2008 season, it’s time to
enjoy the summer and make plans for our upcoming 2008-2009 season!
And to start
the fun off, we are having “picnic” membership meeting this coming July 7th
at 6:30 pm at the Players Place, 44 South Monroe Street, Downtown Monroe.
We will be grilling up some hotdogs and hamburgers and
providing pop for the occasion. We’re
asking members to bring a dish to pass and any other beverage you may care to
have that night.
We’ll also
have information about our upcoming season and you can talk to the directors
about their shows!
We’ll also
have some door prizes, trivia contests and generally have some fun while we
look forward to the 2008-2009 season!

ELECTIONS
David P. Wahr
was elected as the President of Monroe Community Players at the June 2nd
meeting.
Valinda
Jonas was elected as
Vice President and Patrick Bondy and
Patty Atkinson were also
elected to serve on the Board.
